About:
Happy Girls Run Fast
This brand started with something my dad says to me before my races: Happy Girls Run Fast.
It stuck. Not because it’s catchy—but because it’s true.
Running has always been part of my life. It’s my outlet. It’s shaped much of my college experience as a D1 athlete. It’s where I've found my closest friends. But what makes running special isn’t just the sport itself, it’s that it means something different to everyone. For some, it’s structure. For others, it’s community. For many, it’s simply showing up for you.
Over time, I noticed a pattern. When I dreaded workout, it showed in how well I ran my reps. When I was overwhelmed by stress, it showed in my attitude towards running that day. But when I ran with joy, I performed better.
Not just physically, but mentally. The same rule applies everywhere else: school, work, relationships, and life. Joy wasn’t a distraction from success. It was part of it.
That’s where Happy Girls Run Fast comes from.
Because “fast” isn’t just one thing.
Everyone has their own version of fast. Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone’s “fast” looks nothing like the “fast” of a girl trying to run a mile for the first time - but they both count. Records aren’t always the goal. Progress is. Growth is. Showing up is.
This brand exists for women and girls who love to run—and for those who are still figuring out their relationship with it. Running is one of the few things that connects people across ages, backgrounds, and experiences. It’s hard. It takes work. It asks a lot of you. And it’s a lot more enjoyable when you do it Happy.
Happy Girls Run Fast encourages you to:
Run with joy.
Define your own fast.
And don’t forget why you started.
